Security and privacy
Your product formulations and labels are sensitive business assets. We protect them with encryption, strict data handling, and secure payments — and we never use your data to train AI.
Data protection
All data is encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest. Your product formulations and labels are never shared with third parties, never used for AI training, and are deleted upon request. The platform sets security response headers including HSTS, X-Content-Type-Options nosniff, X-Frame-Options DENY, a Referrer-Policy, and a Permissions-Policy.
Payments
Payments are processed through Stripe Checkout. Your card details are handled by Stripe and are not stored on our servers.
Authentication
Accounts are protected with JSON Web Token authentication (JWT, HS256) and bcrypt password hashing. Signups are gated by invite code.
Privacy
We collect only what is needed to analyze your label and prepare your submission-readiness package. Your formulations and labels are kept confidential, are never sold or shared with third parties, and can be deleted at any time by emailing info@baregold.ca. The AI analysis is powered by Anthropic's Claude.
These measures describe how we handle your data; they are not regulatory certifications and are not a guarantee of any licensing outcome. Health Canada and the NNHPD make all final licensing decisions.
